Metashape were appointed at RIBA Stage 4 to produce technical design and construction packages for this 100% affordable housing scheme alongside the Grand Union Canal in Westminster. The project is for 25 apartments and is the second phase of a development masterplan for Westminster Community Homes. Metashape worked closely with the main contractor, consultant team and sub-contractors, which included a leading role on coordination of design information to meet the necessary Building Control and Warranty compliance and to ensure that the new apartments were as space efficient as possible to maximise value for the client.
